Steven Mezynieski is the proud owner and proprietor of Driftwood
Farms, a farming property located near the hamlet of Orient, New York.
Mezynieski and his wife are dedicated to maintaining the integrity of the land,
taking the same approach to cultivating crops and maintaining the natural
beauty of the place that the first settlers of the area took when they first
arrived there centuries ago. Mezynieski is a local business owner and property
development expert, running an excavation company in the Hamptons. Driftwood
Farms is his pride and joy.
The property is located at the tip of Long Island. It houses
horses and has been cultivated to grow privet hedges on three quarters of the
140-acre property. Local horse owners can also board their horses there as well
as ride and graze them in a quiet environment. The sweeping lawn runs right to
a 600-foot bluff overlooking Long Island Sound below. Mezynieski has invested
considerable time and energy to maintaining the space’s natural beauty and its
utility as a working farm. Even though the property feels like an ancient manor
in some old country, it produces crops and provides excellent pastures for
livestock as well.
Steven Mezynieski has kept his farm sustainable and productive
while offering tourists and locals a chance to experience the farm life he has
come to love over the years. Mezynieski uses his natural instincts in his
construction and property development work throughout the Hamptons and
surrounding areas.
